It’s a light week in the sky with only last week’s Mercury retrograde trekking back through Virgo making any real waves. Without so much as a significant lunar moment catching my fancy this week, I’ve decided to focus on one of my favorite topics:
Tea parties! MY BIRTHDAY! Specifically, what I’m getting you all for my birthday.
Yep, you read that right. This year for my birthday, I have some special gifts to share with you all, the folks who show up to this newsletter week in and week out.
What kind of gifts? You might be rightly wondering. It’s an excellent question, so without further ado, let’s get to it!
The Birthday Countdown
Down to the minute, it is precisely 3 weeks until my 39th birthday. And as I shared last week, by the time I turn 40 next year, I expect my life will look quite different than it does now. A house. A kid. A business that will look like who-knows-what. And that’s just the stuff I know about now.
That kind of life changing gets a girl thinking.
Earlier this summer, I had the privilege to celebrate the birthday of a good friend who hosted an event to connect those around her and elevate their businesses and passion projects. It was an utterly amazing, affirming experience that I continue to think about. It might become my Roman Empire.
That’s the inspiration I’m taking into this birthday.

Which takes me back to the topic of your GIFTS.
